PETER d’ALROY JONES is a Yorkshire-man, and he took Honours in Politics and Modern History at the University of Manchester, and his M.A. thesis was completed in the Department of American Studies, in the field of economic and social history. He also did research at the London School of Economics and, as a Belgian Government Research Scholar, at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
